Sheet Metal
Our highly trained and experienced people using state of the art CNC machinery provide reliable, repeatable cost effective sheet metal solutions.
Sheet Metal fabrication is an expansive category. In it’s basic form, it is a manufacturing process where a sheet of metal is cut, punched, bent, folded, rolled, welded and finished into the desired part.
However it is commonly accepted that sheet metal fabrication includes materials such as tube and pipe, CHS, RHS & SHS plus bar, sections and other ancillary components required to make a fully functional and usable component .
When we add these additional products to sheet metal we go from making flashings and basic folded products to creating so many of the wonderful and useful things we use everyday to make our lives and work simpler, more efficient and enjoyable.
Common types of sheet metal are:
- Carbon or mild steel
- Stainless steel in many grades, commonly 304 & 316
- Aluminium alloys in many grades
- Galvanised steel
- Colorbond
- Zincaneal
- Copper
- Brass
Sheet metal products are used in almost all areas of industry with products such as:
- Electrical enclosures
- Stainless steel commercial kitchens
- Stainless steel bench top
- Water tanks
- Medical trolleys
- Diesel & other storage tanks
- Domestic & commercial hand rails
- Balustrades
- Architectural projects & components
- Tool boxes
- Utility boxes
- Bins & hoppers
- Electrical switchboards
- Switchboard components
- Cabinets
- Conveyors
- Trolleys
